I like how lively this one is compared to the calmer original.
I'll give two bits of crit just so maybe this post can actually be helpful. The large yellow light in almost the very middle of the piece seems a bit odd - I can't think of a city light that would be that large. Not bad, just a bid odd since it's SO large. The other thing is that the curving on the tail isn't quite round in some places.
Seriously though, this is the sort of flawless piece that most of your stuff could be with refinement.
Also I love your skies, I just can't do skies like that.
And I completely agree about the lighting. If I edit it I'll put some sort of big ol' spotlight in the front
